Living far from home is painful. I miss my children in Türkiye and the people I love. I have my daughter and granddaughter here, so leaving London would be difficult, even though I still feel homesick and sometimes think about going back to Türkiye one day.
Over time, I have adapted to life here. I may still feel like a stranger sometimes, but London has become part of me.
I live here, and in a way, I am a Londoner now.
