MY IDENTIY IN ONE WORD AND IN ONE SENTENCE

Memory is often established as the criterion of identity. Wherever we go we carry our identities with us. Where we came from, where we are or where we belong reflects constantly in shaping of our identities.

Between 2004-2006 around hundred people from the Turkish community from different age groups, gender, educational background, range of qualifications and jobs in London were interviewed on the notion of identity. Here are some selected responses from the participants.
