Umberto Eco is one of my favourite writers and I can never have enough of the books of Umberto Eco, therefore, when I saw the book ‘This is Not the End of the Book: A conversation curated by Jean-Philippe de Tonnac by Umberto Eco, Jean-Claude Carrière on a bookshop shelf, I quickly grabbed the book started reading it on the way back home, on the train.
‘Stop What You’re Doing And Read This’ edited by Frances Macmillan
Soon as my eyes caught this title in the bookshop; yes I immediately stopped and took this book from the bookshelves. I stopped as I thought there must be a reason why this book has been named like this and started going over the pages. And I was right in stopping simply to read the sentence in the book, “There is no substitute for reading”.
