MEMORIES ARE THE BRIDGES BETWEEN THE PAST AND THE PRESENT
People leave behind a legacy wherever they settle for future generations. Creating lasting memories that nurture the coming generations with the contribution they leave behind. Memory is something that can be passed on one generation to the next and is something that younger generations can feel part of and value.
Hundreds of photographs were taken between the years 2000-2006 of people from the Turkish community in the UK for the ‘Turks in London’ project. Some of the people which were photographed are no longer with us.
