It is not a surprise anymore as soon a political Party need support from the voters they play the race card. And again it’s on the table.
Prime Minister David Cameron has conveniently sidestepped all the serious agenda, so that he has time actually to urge millions of Britons to shop illegal immigrants to the authorities, and announces sweeping plans to crack down on immigration, including lowering a cap on economic migrants and tests for people seeking British citizenship based on its history and culture.
Again Tory Party leader blaming the opposition (Labour Party) for its points-based system for allowing migration figures to rise.
He is not even trying to be politically correct which is a ‘British Way of Doing Things’ but saying without any hesitation that only high-flyers, entrepreneurs and leading scientists who could boost the British economy are welcome to enter Britain. But of course, the ones who have lost their livelihood or family in the war in Iraq or Afghanistan which has been created mainly by the leaders of Britain and its allies are not allowed to come to Britain. They do not deserve it as they are not the high flyers which Mr. Cameron wishes to have in Britain to strengthen the economy. The red carpet is rolled out for them when they arrive to save the British economy.
Well Mr. Prime Minister for a Country which should be strong and more responsible needs also to make more realistic policies than play the old race card.
First, David Cameron said that Multiculturalism is dead and now in the speech he delivered he highlighted, ‘it’s time to reclaim Britain’s borders and protect them from illegal immigrants.’
What’s next on the agenda for the promised big society I wonder?
